Lessons are tailored to each student’s individual needs and goals, working in a fun and creative way. Enjoy playing along with your favorite tunes, as you explore grooves, breaks, fills, timing, and coordination. You will also gain understanding of different styles, learning the tools for playing in a band, or solo. Additional topics include rudiments, hand/foot technique, how to make drum charts and transcriptions, sight reading, drum tuning, and much more.

Start with the basics: Christian will take you through the elements of snare drum technique, while also building your ability to maneuver on the entire instrument with exercises to coordinate your feet and hands. As you improve, he will craft a program that allows you to discover your own potential as a musician; his extensive knowledge will guide you in mastering any style of music on the drums. By using true and tested teaching materials (books, play-along tracks, transcriptions), you will learn to play in different musical settings.

For professional drummers: you will be challenged by advanced concepts and a customized curriculum that will further develop your skills, helping you reach your next level goals and making you a more well-rounded musician.

Lessons are available at several locations, with studios in Manhattan, Brooklyn/Park Slope, Jersey City, as well as house calls across the tri-state area, and Skype/video lessons worldwide.
